Trust Again

It was love at first site for you,

As time passed it gradually grew.

How to reach me you had no Clue,

Whatever you did, it created Misconstrue.

You chased me for atleast a year,

Coz You wanted to change your life's Gear,

You wanted me so bad that you always appear,

Whenever I am sad, Happy or I have fear.

I started trusting you with my eyes closed,

And I agree in any matter, you never imposed,

You have always treated me calm and composed,

And We will always be happy together,

I supposed.

But you didn't let it happened in my life,

And I am still walking on the edge of a knife,

Your faithless words were always at a rife,

That was the reason we always had strife.

It was my mistake to believe in you,

Waiting for my life to take a turn new,

But only Hopeless sighs and sadness accrue,

All those promises and Love were still Due.

With the hope that we will be together again,

when there will be no worries and no strain,

My heart will sing songs of love and not pain,

That day you will earn my trust again.
